Antique Glazed Hunt Cabinet / French Bibliotheque

The cabinet features carved foxes which form the drawer pulls themselves. The foxes sit above a carved Pheasant and Fish on the doors and decorative naturalistic carving throughout.

I prefer the aesthetic of this piece with its stripped and bleached finish, it allows the piece to sit in a modern contemporary setting just as happily as a period setting.

French circa 1890

The top glazed section lifts off so the piece can be transported easily and the internal shelf can be adjusted.

Wear is consistent with age with some minor losses and wear, the piece is structurally sound complete with keys.
