Original Mid Century Light by Renowned Italian Castiglioni Brothers

This is an early Taraxacum Pendant lamp designed by Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in the 1960s for FLOS.

We have had a new flex added by a professional electrician and PAT tested. The flex is a lovely cotton rope finish but it is, in fact, the electrical cable within. It looks really effective with the pendant so we added an extra-long 1.5-metre length to allow the light to drape across a room or have a long drop, it can easily be reduced to suit your room. Takes one E27 light bulb.

In very good condition there are a few very minor nicks in the outer shell these are near the tops of some of the wire body and don’t detract from the piece. Please see the photos. The outer shell is a plastic polymer and resin over a metal frame.

Dimensions 63cm diameter x 52cm height + 1.5metre flex.

Due to the size and how fragile this piece is, it will be carefully wrapped and sent with our couriers. Delivery is free within Bristol but to have this item delivered to mainland UK with our couriers will be £45, fully insured.
