The painting is titled "Midway III (London)".

Farrell paints using shapes to define the composition with a muted palette and occasional darker hues coming through from the back of the canvas, on closer inspection the painting has tiny marks and repeated areas of relief.

The painting is inscribed with the artist's name on a later label on the back. It is also inscribed with the title and the date May 03 (2003)
Don Farrell is a Canadian artist whose work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions in 2004 and 2005 and continues to participate in the RI Annual Exhibitions at the Mall Gallery in London.
