The painting has a Royal Academy of Arts, Summer Exhibition 2002 Label titled ‘Thro the Window’. Alongside a signed, inscribed Artists label verso possibly titled ‘Red Carpet & Table’.

A large-scale painting with a playful composition depicting a figure peering back at the viewer in the top corner, possibly a self-portrait of Bob Bourne reflected back through a mirror or perhaps a different figure altogether peering in an open window.

The painting is presented in a wooden frame with some minor wear.
