Jean Gustaf Haagen (Originally Nilsson, b 1868 -1938) Studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts between 1893 and 1899.

Signed to the lower left of the painting.

The painting is on canvas laid on board and set within a period gilt wooden frame. Condition is commensurate with age with no holes and the frame is structurally sound.
