Original Mid 20th Century Oil on board

Sven Lignell (1920-1985) Swedish Artist who exhibited at galleries in Gothenburg Stockholm and Linköping where his works are still held in their collections along with Galleria del Art Moderna, Madrid. His landscapes, portraits and still life paintings from the 1950s and 60s are influenced by cubism.

I have had the artwork framed in a wooden box frame and set behind glass, highlighting the qualities of the work, the rough edges of the panel and the edges of the artists brushstrokes.

The painting is signed to the lower right corner.
